Poster design. Objectives: create poster that would invite people to travel to a planet, moon, galaxy or star. Main design element to use: texture. Io moon is one of Jupiter's 79 moons discovered by Galileo Galilei. I used textures and colors that resembled Io moon and exaggerated them to emphasize it. The same I did with the moon size. The view from Jupiter (smaller planet on top of type, also used as dot on letter “i”) to Io (a lot larger moon) is very exaggerated because in real life Io is super small. But this way I could show the moon better and emphasize its importance. Black background and shadows are used to create more dramatic look. I also created infographic with fun facts about Io moon as additional piece.
